Ferratus 2006 red wine from Spain

Was yesterday when my best friend Paco visited me. He we was working and traveling and those days he came to Valencia. We decided to meet at my house in the coast. We use to walk along the beach, talking about things, job, friends, family and love. We are friends lot of time ago, from the years at University. At this time he has not one partner but was telling he likes one person. He was in Alicante last weekend. We have great remembers about that city because we use to go in summer by holidays. Alicante is a good city, not big, located in east coast of Spain, two hours by car from Valencia. The weather is wonderful and has something special. If you don't know this city, please do it! Also Valencia (I can recommend you some places to go or guide you).

When Paco come to see me, always brings me a bottle of wine. This was a Ferratus 2006 red one from Ribera del Duero. The "Ribera del Duero" it's a region located on the Duero River basin, south of the province of Burgos city. This is a great region for wines! When you see this in the label, you know this is a quality wine.

The bottle Paco and me (Luis) shared.
You can open the bottle for lunch or dinner, perhaps you drink little or half a bottle, so you must close the bottle with the cork and put it in the refrigerator as soon as possible, because air oxidizes the liquid losing flavour. Of course one better option it's to share all with your boyfriend or girlfriend ;-)

The wine is organic, it has life inside so after two or three days after opening, the taste will change, never will be the same the first day you drinked. The wine has a lot of poetry, wine speaks of time, to seize opportunities and to share good things..

Sometimes in Spain you can listen people refering wine as a "caldo" (yes like soup!) It has nothing to do with soup of course, I mean it's a more polite way to name. This is used by the wine experts. If you are not spanish and after taste it you say "I like this caldo!" will be very funny! You have become an expert! ;-P

Do you want to taste this great red wine? Let me know. It's possible to send one or more bottles. With the small profits from this action I create more content over Internet about this wonderful "caldos"..
